The ArtyMiss Barter site has already appealed to quite a wide audience and we have knitted items, soaps and lotions, as well as card making & craft items. Whilst it is probably mostly cardmakers that are looking at the moment, the audience will grow organically.

The more sellers promote their own shops, the more consumers will look at the site. We are after all offering you a free mechanism to do this, but we are not doing ALL the work for you J

As this site is hosted by ArtyMiss, sellers benefit from the high natural Google ranking ArtyMiss has achieved over the past 5 years. This will mean when people search online for ‘handmade cards’ they will find the site easily.

You can promote the site and gain new customers by ‘word of mouth’ and email. Why not add the ArtyMiss Barter logo to the bottom of your emails? Promote your store on the back of your cards, at Craft Markets and other Craft Fairs.

Visit forums & tell people about your ArtyMiss Barter store. The more the name gets out there, the more customers you will attract!

If you know anyone who makes things, get them to sign up too! The wider the variety of items on the site, the more you are likely to attract new buyers.
