Gill show us that making cards on a budget can be easy, but can still look wonderful. Project ideas from left to right:

Sliding Snowflake

Take a snowflake design card blank and cut a rectangle from these lovely blue Anita's Christmas papers to go in the middle. Before sticking this to the card, cut two parallel lines centrally across the rectangle, 1.5cm apart to create a strip.
Fold a small length of card around the strip and tape the ends, but leave it loose so it can slide along the strip.
Stick a snowflake Elements topper to the front of this little 'collar' then stick the paper rectangle to the centre of the card, adding dots of silver Glitz It Sparkles.
Add two small snowflakes in the corners to finish.

Golden Starshine

Attach a rectangle of Anita's vellum with gold brads to the centre panel of a card.
Take a 6cm square of vellum, fold the corners into the centre, fold halfway out again, add Glitz It glitter glue and finish with a golden star.

Santa Squares

Cut four rectangles (4 x 2.5cm) in two designs of Anita's paper, stick on to a card to form a rectangle, add four Santa toppers and a greeting.

Snowman Surprise!

Add some fun by making this snowman 'break' through the paper!
Cut a rectangle of white cardstock, colour up the edges with blue Glitz It Sparkles glitter glue and, once dry, stick in the middle of a card blank.
Cut a slightly smaller piece of Anita's Christmas paper and push a piercing tool from a Papermania accessory tool set through the middle from behind and then create the torn 'burst' effect. Stick this on top of the glittered rectangle.
Position and stick a snowman Elements topper to look like it's coming out of the burst hole!
Add small snowflakes and a greeting at the bottom to finish.

Pinkmas Tree

Ink the sides of an embossed Elements card with a pink ink pad, colour the holly and berries using Whispers Strokes brush markers and add dots of gold glitter. Cut a rectangle of pink card to stick in the middle of the card and put an Elements Christmas tree on top of this. Finish with a seasonal greeting.

Ruby Sparkle

For a card made in seconds, simply add three different toppers from the sumptuous gold and ruby Elements pack, on to the triple-square Elements card blank. Easy!


Colouring your cards

The beautifully embossed Elements cards can be used just as they are, or they can be transformed by adding Glitz It glitter, either in little tiny touches or big bold statements.
On this cute Santa card, I’ve highlighted the trees and stars with gold glitter glue, and outlined them with a red Whispers Strokes brush marker. I’ve also added dots of glitter glue on the folded vellum in the centre of the card.		Colouring your cards
Colouring your cards 2 Colour can also be added using inkpads to highlight the embossed pattern on the cards as in the Pinkmas Tree card (above) or to ink up paper or card edges, as shown on this pretty stocking card
